Campaign game = Epic Fun. The Wyndham Players are pure evil hilarity at their finest.

Rose SO wants a play about Lillee now. It's only right and proper.

Hurt my neck somehow. Been bugging for a week now. Not sure why or what.

Mirabella is level 72 and looks nothing like her lovely picture anymore. :( I changed her hairstyle to an upswept doo.

Work is good AND bad. New job is sometimes the best and othertimes the worst ever.

A C4 production:

With Lindora having been pushed south out of their own lands to the Halgudarian border, and Halgudar having trouble on the eastern front-- soldiers, refugees, and adventurers alike have converged on one of the last bastions of safety: The Inn of the Two Blades.

A noblewoman of Quivera (said to be in exile) uses this inn as a base of hit and run operations in Lindora. It's rumored she's paying good solid Quiveran gold for any who come and lend their help.

Of course, any seeking refuge, adventure, or just a good meal are welcome to join...

Date: Saturday November 29th 2008, Morning til Midnight
Location: IC: Inn of the Two Blades, Lindora/Halgudar
OOC: Mnt Pinos Campground/Cassidy Cording's House
BRING THANKSGIVING LEFTOVERS!!

This is a unique event!

Saturday morning and afternoon, til about sunset -- On the Mountain gaming. Fighting the various forces on the prowl in Lindora. Come and get your combat action on helping the Lady Orchester, the Yellow Rose of Quivera. Combat and action types welcome! When the sun starts to set, the adventurers will retire to the Inn for some much needed rest.

Saturday Afternoon and evening, til we all pass out -- At the Inn. Dinner, a hot shower, and a warm place to sleep are yours. While the adventurers go out and play on the mountain, any looking to just relax, RP, and have some fun are welcome to converge on the Inn. Be prepared though; Lindora's no longer a safe haven...

Saturday Night -- Once the adventurers return from their mountain activities, there's sure to be a good hot meal, possibly some musical entertainment, and who knows what might decide to seek refuge... or refugees.

Sunday Morning - Who knows.

NPCs wanted as always. Player sheets in advance wanted, as always.
Contact Constance @ youkilledthedog@ gmail.com for more info or for PC information.

In reply to an abundance of Joker costumes

Fark had a link to an article about someone already sick of Joker costumes. He said he wasn't going to give any candy out to anyone wearing a Joker outfit.

Here is the best reply ev-ar.

If I thought I could pull it off, I'd recruit a small army of kids and adults, dress them in the most craptacular Joker costumes that $5 in the thrift store could buy and stalk this douche until Christmas. Then when he would undoubtedly start whining like a little girl with a skinned knee about how much he hates Christmas music, all of my Jokers would start singing "White Christmas" with megaphones until he killed himself.

I wish it was mine, but alas, I claim no credit. I just know that Mister J would approve.

Nightwish Sadness

I haven't posted in a loooong while. Wow.

We went to see Nightwish last night and boy... um... yeah.

They changed singers in the past few years and this new girl is going to hurt them. She was terrible. They went from an overly dramatic lyric soprano to a japanese pop singer. That's the BEST way to describe her. She was cute, peppy, and had this nasaly twang.

They dropped all the high songs an octive so she could chest-range them and yet it still sounded horrible. She was off-key on a few parts and just make me twitch. She did okay on the songs written for her but anything off their older albums sounded butchered (Except I wish I had an Angel).

Sadness. The band themselves were ok (Though my friends say they were off their game) but she ruined it for me. :(

Watched movies finally

We got to see the brilliant Iron Man at long long last. What a faboo movie. Acting, effects, story, humor -- all spot on.

Then we picked up a dvd today at Target of something I had heard of but never saw released in the theatres. "Black Sheep" a horror movie about killer sheep, with top notch special effects by WETA. If you liked Shaun of the Dead you will enjoy this one too.

By request

Here's my life!

Faire was meh. While the game had popularity with the customers that DID enjoy it, a slow start and a lack of help from the Company did not help. That is to say, lack of help from Corporate. The Marketplace and Entertainment Depts. helped a LOT. Corporate seems to think they own us and can use us to their ends.

Umm, no.

Soooo the game will not continue next year. Which is fine. If Corporate continues to give grief to us and to our friends, we might not even run HT. Again, -- this is fine with us.

Work is good for the most part. Being salary and being good at finding problems means I occasionally have to work overtime and FIND said problems... But my boss is a Joss Whedon nerd and is a lot of fun to work with so that makes up for it.

House is getting back to normal, but that'll get jacked up by the Life Effects games this month, one ran by our friend Andrew Rowe and another being their usual 3-day overnighters 2 weeks later.

My thoughts on L.E.
They have a commitment to running stuff and people who are dedicated as storytellers and NPCs. That's their greatest advantage over Campaign. Campaign has better stories, costumes, mechanics, and attention to detail. But we have so few people who can or will GM and so few events it's heartbreaking.

Now that Faire is done and lives are becoming semi-normal, Robin and I may run stuff again. But who knows.

There's my life. In a nutshell. Busy and tiring.

Oh, I'm on Conan too. I forget the server, but I have a Herald of Xotli running amuck and beheading people.

I hope and pray that when I go to marketing, I'll never ever have to deal with Accounting again.

You don't want to know how angry I am with them. Their constant screw ups in payment and updating our information. Their fuck ups are getting US into a lot of trouble with our customers.

The Accounts Payable woman is difficult at best and downright a pain in the ass at worst.

I hope this is the last time I deal with them.

My new boss sends me little "Can't wait to have you down here, it'll be fun," notes once in a while. I'm excited. He's a neat-o guy.

My Life is Destroyed!

Dear Hallmark Friends,

When my son presented me with a lovely Macintosh computer, I was happy,
but DEVASTATED when I found I could not use my Hallmark Card program.
I have tried every way I can to find a Hallmark program I can use on my
Mac. I even ordered one on line only to find that it was no longer
available.

Please Help Me: Is there SOME WAY that I can yet secure something
that I can use on my Macintosh computer? This is my great need --
cards to cheer up, comfort, and bless everyone around me. At ANY cost.

I firmly believe in prayer, and I believe this prayer of mine can be
answered. Thank you for your help.

Most sincerely,
-------------------

Of course, you have to -hear- me reading this in an impassioned voice, trying to get across the level of pathos this woman is invoking in the name of Hallmark cards...

Now give me all my money back since it won't work on Vista now!!

Me: Um, I'm very sorry it won't work.

I have been a loyal customer of many years. But, when you port PROGRAM v6 to Vista. Then box it like you have done something reads PROGRAM v7. If your parent company had any shame I would say shame on them and you. But, as the world knows the French are the Whores of the World. Well Froggy no more money from me to you ungrateful bastards.

This Phish is awesome.

I think someone ran it through a "British" filter...

From: Mrs.wample George
26 Kensington Court,
London, W8 5DL,
England.
Tel/fax:+44870 479 0885

My Dear

I am Mrs. Mrs.wample George, a citizen of Belgium but I based in England,I am married to
Sir Jim George who also is an Englishman though dead now. My husband was a businessman
before the cold hand of death took him away on the 3rd of December, 2005 at about 2:00am.
Our marriage lasted for over a decade without any fruit of the womb. My husband died after a protracted, illness. My husband and I made a vow to uplift the own-trodden and the
less-privileged individuals within the United, Kingdom, Europe, North and South America,
Africa and the rest of the globe as he hadpassion for persons who can not help themselves due to physical disability or financial predicament.

I can adduce this to he fact that he needed a Child from this relationship, which never
came. When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of (£8,700,000.00) (Eight million
seven hundred thousand Pounds) with a Bank and this money is still with the Bank Presently, I am suffering from cancerous ailment for some years now.Recently, my Doctor told me that I
have a limited or numbered days on earth and that my life spam will not exceed 150 days due
to the cancerous problems I am suffering from. Though what bothers me most is the stroke
that I have in addition to the cancer. With this hard reality that has befallen my family,
I have decided to donate this fund to a non-governmental, or a non religious, and or a
nonprofit organization or better still an individual, that will utilize this money the way
I am going to instruct here in.

I want a non governmental, or a non religious, and or a non profit organization or better
still an individual, that will use this gift which comes from my husbands sweat to fund the
upkeep of widows, widowers, orphans, destitute, the down-trodden, physically challenged
children,barren-women and persons who prove to be genuinely handicapped financially. It is
often said that blessed is the hand that gives. took this decision because I do not have
any child that will inherit this money and my husband relatives are Bourgeois and very
wealthy persons and I do not want my husband hard earned money to be misused or invested
into ill perceived ventures. I do not want a situation where this money will
be used in an ungodly manner, hence the reason for taking this bold decision.

I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going. I know that I am going to be with
the Almighty when I eventually pass on.The Almighty will fight my case and I shall hold my
peace. I do not need any telephone communication in this regard due to my deteriorating
health and because of the presence of my husband relatives around me. I do not want them to
know about this development. With God all things are possible. As soon as I receive your
reply I shall give you the contact of my attorney whom I have entrusted every detail regarding this fund. As Soon as yourinformation is been received by my attorney, he will also issue a Letter of Authority andpower of attorney on this regards, making you the original beneficiary of this fund with other related documents.

As soon as I get this information from you I shall send to you my Identities to you for
proper verifications. My happiness is that I lived a life worthy of emulation. Please
always be prayerful all through your life.

Any delay in your reply will give me room in sourcing for a non-governmental,or anon
religious, and or a non profit organization or better still an individual for this same purpose.

Please assure me that you will act just as I have stated herein.

God bless you and members of your family.

Best Regards

Mrs.wample George
